Prof. Dr. Neelesh Sharma is a committed veterinary clinician and researcher and presently working as a Professor and Head in the Division of Veterinary Medicine, Faculty of Veterinary Science & AH, SKUAST-Jammu. He graduated in Veterinary Science from Mhow, M.P., post-graduated in Veterinary Medicine from Durg, C.G., and obtained a PhD in South Korea. He has published 15 books, 3 manuals, 11 compendiums, 2 technical bulletins, 171 papers in peer-reviewed national/international journals, 16 extension papers, 12 pamphlets in Hindi, 70 chapters in books/compendiums in the field of veterinary sciences, and 100 abstracts. He has visited 13 countries for scientific purposes. He is the recipient of more than 55 national and international awards. He works on stem cell research and ethnoveterinary medicine, with a focus on AMR and One Health.
