Author Biographies

Dr. K Theyagarajan is a research assistant professor in the Department of Electronic Engineering, Gachon University, Seongnam, Republic of Korea. He has completed his bachelor’s and master’s degrees (with four gold medals) in the Department of Chemistry, Loyola College, Chennai (India). He obtained his Ph.D. degree in chemistry from the Department of Chemistry, Vellore Institute of Technology (VIT), Vellore, India. Post-Ph.D., he also served as an ICMR research associate in the same department. His research interests include the design and synthesis of various functionalized ionic liquids and metal–organic frameworks for the fabrication of chemically modified electrodes and their applications in electrocatalysis, electrochemical sensors, and biosensors.
Prof. Young-Joon Kim is working as an associate professor in the Department of Electronic Engineering, Gachon University, Seongnam, Republic of Korea. He completed his bachelor’s and master’s degree in the Department of Electrical Engineering, Korea Advanced Institute of Science and Technology, Daejeon, Republic of Korea. He obtained his Ph.D. degree in the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering, Purdue University, West Lafayette, IN, USA. His research interests include biosensors, system-level design, and implementation.
