Prof. Dr. Lifei Yu graduated from Nanjing Forestry University with a major in ecology in 1998 and studied at Saga University in Japan from 2001 to 2002. He is a Doctor of Science and currently works as a professor, doctoral supervisor, and the Dean of the School of Forestry, Guizhou University. In addition, he is the Director of the Karst Ecological Environment Research Center. He is mainly engaged in research on karst forest ecology, restoration ecology and nature reserve studies.
