Dr. Yanbo Chen is currently a professor and doctoral supervisor at North China Electric Power University, an outstanding young energy technology worker of the China Energy Research Association, and also serves as the deputy editor or editorial board member of multiple SCI journals, such as IEEE Senior Member, CIGRE Member, IET-RPG. He is a member of the Youth Editorial Committee for Power System Protection and Control, a guest editor (lead) of IET-GTD, and a special editor-in-chief for high voltage technology. He went to the Southern Methodist University in the United States as a visiting scholar from 2019 to 2020. He obtained his doctoral degree from Tsinghua University in 2013 and has been teaching at North China Electric Power University ever since. He was selected for the National Youth Talent Program and the Outstanding Talent of Kunlun Talent (Qinghai Thousand Talents). His research interests include power system state estimation, optimal power flow, energy management system, integrated energy system state estimation, optimal power flow, Big Data, machine learning, artificial intelligence and its applications in power systems, and optimization and analysis of alternate electrical power systems with renewable energy sources, and energy storage technology and its application.
