Author Biographies

Mustafa Hikmet Bilgehan Ucar was born in Istanbul, Turkey. He received his B.S., M.S., and Ph.D. degrees from Kocaeli University, Kocaeli, Turkey, all in the Electronics and Computer Education Department in 2004, 2007, and 2013, respectively. Between 2014 and 2022, he worked as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Information Systems Engineering, at Kocaeli University, Turkey. He has served as an Associate Professor in the same department since 2022. His main research interests are the numerical analysis and design of reconfigurable antennas/arrays/EM filters and frequency-selective surfaces. His research also focuses on telecommunication, embedded systems, IoT, biomedical science, and user interface design.
Arsene Adjevi received B.S. degree in information systems engineering from Sakarya University, Sakarya, Turkey, in 2023. He is currently pursuing an M.S. degree in Information Systems Engineering at Kocaeli University, Kocaeli, Turkey. His research interests include the  development of embedded systems software, biomedical IoT sensors, and image steganography.
Faruk Aktaş received B.S. and M.S. degrees from the Department of Electronics and Computer Education, Kocaeli University, Kocaeli, Turkey, in 2008 and 2012, respectively. Then, he received a Ph.D. degree in Biomedical Engineering from Kocaeli University in 2018. He is currently an Assistant Professor at the Department of Biomedical Engineering at Kocaeli University. His research interests include machine learning, deep learning, Internet of Things, Internet of Medical Things, embedded systems, microcontrollers, and healthcare information.
Serdar Solak received B.S. and M.S. degrees from the Department of Computer Engineering, Kocaeli University, Kocaeli, Turkey, in 2002 and 2008, respectively. Then, he received a Ph.D. degree in Electronics-Computer Education from Kocaeli University in 2016. He is currently an Associate Professor at the Department of Information Systems Engineering, at Kocaeli University. His research interests include image steganography, data hiding, distance learning, computer vision, and embedded systems. He serves as a scientific referee for more than 50 journals such as IEEE Access, Journal of Ambient Intelligence And Humanized Computing, Medical & Biological Engineering & Computing, Journal of Modern Optics, Computers & Electrical Engineering, Turkish Journal of Electrical Engineering and Computer Sciences, Symmetry, IET Image Processing, Electronics, Sensors, Applied Science, Plos One, IET Image Processing, Micromachines, and Expert Systems.
