Dr. Emanuele Brunesi is a Senior Researcher at Eucentre. After his undergraduate studies at the University of Pavia, where he received his BSc degree in September 2007 in civil engineering and his MEng degree in December 2009 in structural engineering, he started collaborating with Eucentre (January 2010) on national and international research projects for the European Commission, the Italian Department of Civil Protection and private companies. His main interests include steel; structural analysis; concrete; reinforced concrete; seismic design; building; structural design; building design and opensees.

Prof. Dr Roberto Nascimbene is Associate Professor at University School for Advanced Studies (IUSS) in Pavia. He earned his Ph.D. in Civil Engineering at University of Pavia where he has been Adjunct Professor since 2005 teaching “Shells and tanks analysis and design” and “Analysis and design of steel structures”. Prior to joining IUSS, he was the Head of the Building and Infrastructure Department at EUCENTRE. His main interests include Tank, precast, steel connections, highrise mega building, seismic performance.
