Author Biographies

Prof. Ankica Kosic is an Associate Professor in Social Psychology at the Department of Developmental and Socialization Psychology, Faculty of Medicine and Psychology, Sapienza—University of Rome. In the period 2006–2008, she received a Marie Curie Fellowship and was affiliated as a researcher at the European Research Centre, Kingston University, UK. She conducted research on reconciliation processes among young people in post-conflict areas, Belfast (Northern Ireland) and Vukovar (Croatia). From September 2001 to December 2006, she worked as a Research Fellow at the Robert Schuman Centre for Advanced Studies, European University Institute, Florence, in the framework of four projects funded by the European Commission. Her research interest is focused on immigrant integration, intergroup relationships, stereotypes and prejudice, and reconciliation processes in post-conflict areas.
