Prof. Dr. Yiqiang Pei obtained a bachelor's degree in
internal combustion engine from Luoyang Institute of Technology from September
1987 to July 1991, a master's degree in energy and power engineering from
Tianjin University from September 1997 to July 2000, and a PhD in energy and
power engineering from Tianjin University from September 2000 to March 2004.
From March 2009 to May 2009, he served as a visiting scholar at Brunel
University in the UK. From April 2006 to now, he has served as an associate professor
at the State Key Laboratory of Internal Combustion Engines at Tianjin
University. From July 2014 to January 2015, he served as a visiting scholar at
the University of Hertfordshire in the UK.
