Chel Hun Choi received his Bachelor’s degree from the College of Medicine, Seoul National University in 1997, his Master’s degree from Sungkyunkwan University in 2007, and his Ph.D. from Medicine Korea University in 2007. Eun-Ju Lee is an associate professor in the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology at Chung-Ang University Medical Center. She completed her gynecologic oncology fellowship in 2008 at Samsung Medical Center and joined the faculty. Dr. Lee is a doctor with a research career. After finishing a course residency, she worked full-time in the laboratory for six years. She discovered many implicated genes in developing human uterine leiomyoma and gynecologic cancers, for which she received an award from AACR. She worked as a postdoctoral fellow at M. D. Anderson Cancer Center, working with Dr. Wei Zhang and Dr. John Kavanagh. She studied an oncogene, IGFBP2, in ovarian cancer and also participated in the management of the patients. She worked at Sidney Kimmel Cancer Center with Dr. Michael McClelland and discovered methylation markers to detect cancer in the early stage. Dr. Lee has now focused on discovering the exact therapeutic mechanism of Dkk3 in gynecologic cancer and developing the methylation markers to subgroup cervical intraepithelial lesions (CIN). Dr. Lee is also busy clinically performing surgery. She has a particular interest in laparoscopic surgery for the treatment of gynecologic malignancies.

Myong Cheol Lim received his MD and Ph.D. from Kyung Hee University, Seoul, Republic of Korea, in 1999 and 2009, respectively. Myong Cheol Lim is a gynecologic oncologist and staff surgeon at the National Cancer Center, Korea. He is also a Professor at the Department of Cancer Control and Population Health, NCC-GCSP. Dr. Lim’s clinical expertise includes the surgical management of gynecologic cancers, including ovarian, fallopian, primary peritoneal, cervical, and endometrial cancer. He is one of the pioneers of cytoreductive surgery for peritoneal cancer such as ovarian cancer, pseudomyxomaperitoneii, and mesothelioma. Dr. Lim’s main research interests are as follows 1) surgery and targeted therapy for gynecologic cancers; 2) minimal invasive surgery, laparoscopic and robotic surgery, and natural orifice trans-luminal surgery (NOTES), and development of surgical instrument; 3) hereditary/familial (gynecologic) cancers; 4) cancer statistics, patterns of healthcare delivery, and clinical guideline; and 5) cancer survivorship: sexuality, lymphedema, exercise, sarcopenia, and secondary cancer.

Chong Woo Yoo received his MD, M.S., and Ph.D. in Medicine from Seoul National University, Republic of Korea. Currently, he is a Professor at the Department of Cancer Biomedical Science, NCC-GCSP. Dr. Yoo is working in surgical pathology, mainly in gynecologic malignancy, including uterine cancers and ovarian cancers. He is also involved in oral and sinonasal tumor pathology. In the research field, his main concerns are in the HPV detection and phenotyping in uterine cervical and oral cancers. Jae-Weon Kim received his MD, MS, and Ph.D. from Seoul National University College of Medicine in 1997, 2002, and 2007, respectively. Dr. Kim is a child and adolescent psychiatrist whose main areas of clinical and research interest are ADHD, depression, anxiety, and suicide.
