Dennis Kithinji is an independent research consultant and medical writer. He is the founder and CEO of Medright Consulting LTD and an adjunct faculty member in the Department of Medical Laboratory Sciences at the Meru University of Science and Technology. He consults for organizations and individuals on research and technical writing in health sciences. Kithinji holds a Master of Science in Medical Microbiology (University of Nairobi, 2021) and a Bachelor of Science in Medical Laboratory Science and Technology (University of Nairobi, 2016). He is currently a PhD candidate at Kenyatta University pursuing PhD in Pharmacognosy. He has completed several courses on data analysis, research ethics, research methods, scientific communication, and science communication. Kithinji has worked as a research consultant for NGOs and private organizations, including the World Health Organization Regional Office for Africa, Dream–Sant’Egidio, Nairobi Eye Associates, and Bioinformatics Institute of Kenya. He has also supported hundreds of individual researchers with the design, conduct, and communication of their research projects in the past eight years. He is currently an independent consultant in the Transformation Agenda project in the office of the Regional Director, WHO Regional Office for Africa.
