Vicente Salinas Barrera, Ph.D., is an Associate Professor at the Instituto de Ciencias Aplicadas, Universidad Autónoma de Chile, where he has been contributing since 2019. He holds a Ph.D. in Physics and a degree in Physics Engineering from the Universidad de Santiago de Chile (USACH). His research expertise lies in the experimental characterization of nonlinear responses in materials, with a strong focus on acoustic cavitation phenomena and ultrasonic techniques applied to mechanical property measurement.
