Vicente Salinas Barrera, Ph.D., is an Associate Professor at the Instituto de Ciencias Aplicadas, Universidad Autónoma de Chile, where he has been contributing since 2019. He holds a Ph.D. in Physics and a degree in Physics Engineering from the Universidad de Santiago de Chile (USACH). His research expertise lies in the experimental characterization of nonlinear responses in materials, with a strong focus on acoustic cavitation phenomena and ultrasonic techniques applied to mechanical property measurement. Dr. Salinas is a dedicated member of the Colegio de Ingenieros de Chile, actively participating in various research initiatives that bridge the gap between engineering and healthcare. His extensive work experience includes postdoctoral positions and various teaching roles at prominent Chilean universities, where he has consistently demonstrated his commitment to advancing knowledge in the fields of acoustics, material science, and fluid dynamics.
