Seonghun Kim is a Principal Research Scientist at the Korea Research Institute of Bioscience and Biotechnology and a Professor at the Korea University of Science and Technology. He holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Environmental Science & Engineering from the Hankuk University of Foreign Studies, a Master’s Degree in Biochemical Engineering, and a Ph.D. in Biochemical Engineering from the Pohang University of Science and Technology. Then, he completed his Postdoctoral training at the ETH Zürich and Korea Research Institute of Bioscience and Biotechnology. He has received numerous awards, including the Deutscher Akademischer Austausch Dienst (DAAD) Scholarship, the Student Travel Award for Glycobiology, the Korea Research Foundation Postdoctoral Fellowship, and The 9th Best Student Award for the Department of Environmental Engineering in Korea.
