Dr. Chiara Verdelli graduated with a degree in Biological Sciences from the University of Milan in 2007. In January 2012, she qualified to practice as a biologist and registered as a Professional Biologist in 2015. In March 2016, she joined the IRCCS Istituto Ortopedico Galeazzi as a researcher. Her research areas include cell culture, gene expression and gene silencing with stable and transient transfection, DNA and RNA, extraction, electrophoresis, Western blotting, Southern blotting, real-time PCR for gene expression, lncRNAs and microRNAs, PCR and RT-PCR, cytofluorimetry, immunofluorescence, and immunohistochemistry.
Prof. Dr. Sabrina Corbetta currently works at the Department of Biomedical, Surgical, and Dental Sciences, the University of Milan in IRCCS Istituto Auxologico Italiano in Milan. She is an endocrinologist and an associate professor of Endocrinology. In addition, she is the Managing Director of the Bone Metabolism Disorders and Diabetes Unit at IRCCS Istituto Auxologico Italiano. Her clinical and translational research activities focus on bone metabolism, bone rare disorders, and parathyroid tumors.
