Prof. Dr. Xuedong Zhu is a Professor and the Party Secretary
of the School of Chemical Engineering, at East China University of Science and
Technology. He also serves as Vice President of the Shanghai Chemical Industry
Association, Director of the Shanghai Chemical Society, Chairman of the
Controlled Chemicals Committee, Director of the China Energy Management
Education Innovation Alliance, etc. He received his BS in Inorganic Chemistry
(1989) and PhD in Chemical Engineering (1999) from East China University of
Science and Technology. From 2001 to 2004, he worked as a Postdoctoral
Researcher at the Chemical Engineering and Technology Postdoctoral Station of
East China University of Science and Technology. His research areas include
reactor engineering, catalyst engineering, and green manufacturing of chemical
raw materials.
