Naohito Yoshioka received his Master of Engineering from Osaka Prefecture University in 2014 and is now pursuing PhD candidate in engineering at the Osaka Institute of Technology. He worked as a researcher at Mitsubishi Motors Corporation (2014–2017) and moved to Yanmar Holdings Co., Ltd in 2017. His research topics mainly include Biomedical Engineering, Ergonomics, and Human–Machine Interface.

Nobuyuki Araki received his Master of Engineering from Tsukuba University in 1998. He worked as a researcher at Fuji Xerox Co., Ltd. (1998–2002). In 2002, he moved to Nissan Motor Co., Ltd. and was promoted to Manager in 2005. In 2014, he moved to Yanmar Holdings Co., Ltd. and was promoted to Principal in 2022. His research topics mainly include Human–Machine Interfaces and Ergonomics.
Yoshiyuki Kamakura is an Associate Professor in the Department of Information Systems, Faculty of Information Science and Technology, Osaka Institute of Technology (OIT). He completed the Graduate School of OIT and received a doctoral degree in Information Science and Technology (2005). After a career as a part-time researcher and lecturer at several universities, he worked as a postdoctoral researcher (PD) at OIT (2009–2012). Engaged as a Specially Appointed Assistant Professor (2012–2015), as an Assistant Professor (2015–2018), and in a current position (2018–Present) in the current faculty of OIT. Best Paper Award, Regional Conference on Electrical and Electronics Engineering (2016), UCHIDA Paper Award, Medical Imaging and Information Sciences (MII) (2014). Engaged in education, research, and development with physiological and biological sensing and analysis utilizing ICT/image processing techniques.
Mieko Ohsuga is a professor in the Department of System Design Engineering, Faculty of Robotics and Design Engineering, Osaka Institute of Technology (OIT). After receiving a BS degree in Eng. from the University of Tokyo, she engaged in research activities at the Laboratories of Mitsubishi Electric Corporation Research (1979–2001). During this time, she finished her doctorate thesis in Eng. (1994). After moving to OIT, she worked for several departments of OIT (2002–2020) and was finally prompted to her current position (2021–Present). She is engaged in education, research, and development with the aim of contributing to the well-being of various people by utilizing ICT technology with a focus on human sensing technology.
