Prof. Argiris Laskarakis holds a BSc in Physics, an MSc in Science & Technology of Materials, and a PhD in Optical Properties of Nanomaterials. Since 2015, he has been head of the Organic Electronics Group of the Nanotechnology Lab LTFN. He has participated as a senior researcher in more than 15 EC-funded R&D projects and as a project manager in two H2020 R&D projects. He is a specialist in flexible organic and printed electronics nanomaterials (organic semiconductors, transparent electrodes, barriers for encapsulation) and devices (e.g., organic photovoltaics, organic thin film transistors) by vacuum and printing methods. Also, he is an expert in optical metrology of inorganic, organic, and hybrid nanostructured materials by optical spectroscopy methods as well as on the computational modeling of optical properties of nanomaterials and thin films. His scientific work includes more than 85 peer-reviewed publications in international scientific journals, 5 book chapters, and more than 120 presentations at international scientific conferences. Finally, for the last 13 years, he has been responsible for the organization of the International Symposium on Flexible Organic Electronics (ISFOE).
