Prof. Dr. Xiaoyan Yu currently serves as the Director of the Computer and Information Technology Teaching and Research Department in the School of Physics and Electronic Engineering at Harbin Normal University. She received her B.S. and M.S. degrees from the Physics Department of Harbin Normal University in 1998 and 2001, respectively, and obtained her Ph.D. in 2006 from the Department of Information Systems Engineering, Kochi University of Technology, Japan. Her research interests mainly include research on stereo matching and stereo image segmentation, etc., video coding algorithms and parallel implementation and other research and optical information processing methods. Research project (1) From January 2007 to March 2009, she presided over the Special Fund Project for Returned Overseas Chinese in Heilongjiang Province (LC06C17): research on data driven parallel video compression system.
(2) From January 2008 to December 2011, she presided over the Ministry of Education's launch project for returned overseas students: research on data-driven video coding system.
(3) From January 2011 to December 2013, she presided over the Natural Science Foundation of Heilongjiang Province project (F201039): Research on Stereoscopic Video Coding for Prospect Segmentation in Complex Background.
Prof. Xianwei Rong is currently a professor and master’s
supervisor at the School of Physics and Electronic Engineering, Harbin Normal
University. He received his Bachelor of Science degree in 1996 from the
Department of Physics, Harbin Normal University, and his Master of Engineering
degree in 2010 from the School of Information and Communication Engineering,
Harbin Engineering University, majoring in Signal and Information Processing. His
research topics mainly include optoelectronic information processing, optical
holography, computational holography, digital holography and light propagation
and the action of light and media.
