Dr. Haifaa Majadly is a Senior Lecturer and Pedagogical Counselor at Al-Qasemi Academic College of Education, where she previously served as the Head of Practical Training. She also lectures at David Yellin College of Education in Israel. Her research interests include Arabic language education, curricula, and textbooks in linguistic education, as well as innovative, future-oriented pedagogy, language literacy, reading literacy, and practical experience in teacher training.
Majadly is a graduate of the Mandel Institute Leadership in Academia Program for Teacher Education in Israel. She leads a Massive Open Online Course (MOOC) on Arabic language didactics, using modern pedagogical approaches. Additionally, she develops content and produces a podcast aimed at enhancing language, social, and emotional skills among elementary school students in Palestinian–Arab society.
Majadly holds a Ph.D. from the University of Haifa, where her thesis focused on Arabic language education textbooks in Israel, Palestine, Jordan, Syria, Lebanon, and Saudi Arabia. She completed a postdoctoral fellowship, where she further analyzed Arabic language education textbooks.
Dr. Majadly supervises master's theses in the "Teaching and Learning" specialization and has participated in numerous academic conferences. Her contributions have been recognized with several research grants and certificates of appreciation, including an award from the Minister of Culture and Sports for her research achievements.
Dr. Athar Haj Yahya’s main research focus is socio-cultural studies and language education. She is particularly interested in topics such as multiculturalism, multilingualism, social-emotional learning (SEL), and children's literature. Dr. Haj Yahya works as a lecturer and pedagogical instructor at the Arab Academic Institute for Arab Teachers at Beit Berl College. Furthermore, she serves as coordinator of Arabic fundamentals and academic enlightenment courses at the Arab Academic Institute. She has written and published multiple research studies and other articles in books and journals, as well as participated in many academic conferences.
