Agnese Pergola is Archaeologist of the Ministry of Culture (since 2017). She has worked at the National Roman Museum since 2018 and is in charge of Palazzo Massimo, managing its exhibition, collections and archaeological storage; she coordinates the study of the Late Antique and Early Medieval collections; she is in charge of the Photographic Archives, for which she coordinates the inventory, organization and cataloguing projects. From 2008 to 2015, she collaborated with Pontifical Commission for Sacred Archaeology. She obtained her PhD in Archaeology and Post-classical Antiquities from University of Rome La Sapienza (2015), her Masters degree in Christian Archaeology from the Pontifical Institute of Christian Archaeology (2010) and her BA degree in Archaeological Sciences at the University of Roma Tre (2006).
