Dr. Chunfang Zhang is an associate professor and doctoral supervisor at the Institute of Marine Biology, College of Oceanography, Zhejiang University. From 2002 to 2009, she studied at the School of Resources and Environment, Guilin University of Technology, and obtained a master's degree in 2009. From 2008 to 2009, she studied as an exchange student at Kumamoto University in Japan for 5 months. In 2012, she obtained her doctorate from the Graduate School of Engineering, Nagoya University, Japan. After graduation, from 2012 to 2014, he worked as a postdoctoral researcher at the Institute of Ecological and Social Sciences, Nagoya University, Japan. In 2014, he began to work at the College of Oceanography, Zhejiang University, and was promoted to associate professor in 2015. He served as a lecturer and associate professor successively. From 2020 to 2020, she was a visiting scholar at the National University of Singapore. In addition, she is a visiting professor at Guilin University of Technology, a specially appointed expert at the local enterprise level in Karamay City, Xinjiang, and an expert at the Zhejiang New Materials Think Tank. Her research directions include marine microorganisms, anaerobic oxidation of methane, and anaerobic reduction dechlorination, among many other topics.
Dr. Wenjie Zhang is a professor and doctoral supervisor at the School of Environmental Science and Engineering, Guilin University of Technology. He graduated from Guilin Institute of Technology (now Guilin University of Technology) with a bachelor's degree and a master's degree in environmental engineering in 2002 and 2005, respectively. His main research direction in the master's stage was "Research on biological desulfurization technology of boiler flue gas". In September 2008, he graduated from Kumamoto University (Japan) with a doctorate in environmental engineering. From 2008 to 2010, he worked in the Nagoya Office of Meidensha Co., Ltd. in Japan as a research and development worker; from 2010 to the present, he has worked in the School of Environmental Science and Engineering, Guilin University of Technology; from 2016 to 2018, he entered the Research Center for Eco-Environmental Sciences, Chinese Academy of Sciences, for postdoctoral research; from 2017 to 2018, he went to the Western Pacific Research Center of the University of Guam as a visiting scholar to conduct research. His research directions include anaerobic ammonia oxidation, ceramic membranes, and waste gas treatment.
