Olia Blacher earned her Master's degree in German as a Foreign and Second Language and Intercultural Studies from the Friedrich Schiller University Jena in 2015. She subsequently completed a second Master's degree in East European Cultural Studies at the Institute of Slavic Languages, Literatures, and Cultures in 2018. She is currently pursuing her PhD at the University of Konstanz. Additionally, she serves as a research assistant in the Department of Linguistics at the University of Konstanz, working on the project "Russian in Germany Across Generations".
