Dr. Waleed Alzamil, Associate Professor, Department of Urban Planning DUP, King Saud University. Director of the Research Center at CAP (2023–2005). Former Head of the Department of Urban Planning (2020–2023) and Head of the Saudi Housing Research Unit (2018–2020). Served as Vice Dean for Academic Affairs at the College of Architecture and Planning (2016–2018). Holds a PhD in Urban Planning and Environmental Policy from Texas South University, USA. Holds a Master’s Degree in Community Planning from the University of Cincinnati, Ohio, USA. Also holds a Master of Science in Urban Design and a Bachelor of Science with Honors in Urban Planning from King Saud University. He has many published research papers and books, whether in peer-reviewed scientific journals or specialized conferences, forums and seminars, exceeding 70 research papers, in addition to including his CV in many international encyclopedias.
