Xiaotang Xia was born in Wuhan, China, in 1984. After graduating from Wuhan University with a Bachelor's degree and Master's degree in 2009, she worked as a teacher at Wuhan University of Science and Technology, from 2009 until now, and at the same time she received a PHD from Wuhan University in 2017. Since 2018, she has been an associate professor in the Department of Urban Planning at the Urban Construction College of Wuhan University and Science and Technology and she has recently become a visiting scholar at Rutgers University in the United State for two years. She has published 11 papers and has three monographs. Her research interests include urban planning and design, the application of GIS in urban planning, technical planning based on big data, and smart city design.

Hong Yan was born in 2001 in Wuhan, Hubei, China. In 2023, she was admitted to Wuhan University of Science and Technology (WUST), majoring in Architecture, and is currently in the second year of her master's degree program. Her research areas include urban planning and design, the application of GIS in urban planning, and big data-driven technology planning and architectural design. During her postgraduate studies, she has participated in one national and two provincial research projects, and achieved excellent grades in her specialized courses.

Yuting Qin was born in Enshi, Hubei Province, China, in 2003. In 2021, she entered Wuhan University of Science and Technology to study urban and rural planning, and now she is a senior undergraduate student. In urban and rural road and traffic planning, urban and rural society comprehensive investigation and research, urban and rural ecology and environmental planning, amongst other professional courses, she has achieved a high GPA. She has won the university's first-class scholarship, outstanding student model and other honors.

Tingyang Li was born in Wuhan, China, in 1983. He worked on his Master's degree from Wuhan University from 2007 to 2009, and has studied for his DBA degree in Marketing Management, KEDGE Business School, France, since 2013. He has worked in the School of Management of Wuhan University of Technology as an associate professor since 2017. Currently, he teaches senior courses, such as in marketing management, consumer behaviour, and real estate risk control. He has published five papers and has one monograph. His research interests include risk management, emergency management, and consumption behaviors management.
