Dr. Mauricio
Nahuam Chávez-Avilés is Full Professor B at the Department of Biochemical Engineering/Tecnológico Nacional de México/ITS de Ciudad Hidalgo. He completed his PhD studies in the Chemical Biological Research Institute at the Michoacan University of San Nicolas de Hidalgo, and has been awarded National Researcher I by the National Council of Humanities, Science, Technology and Innovation. He recently led projects related to Biological Control and Bioremediation. He has published thirteen papers in various journals and serves as a full member for the Mexican Society of Biochemistry, as well as for Research Projects. His teaching disciplines include biochemistry,
molecular biology, microbiology, among others and his interests include sustainable agriculture and bioremediation processes.
