William David Lubitz received his PhD from the University of California, Davis, in 2005. Between 2005 and 2006, he held a position as a Postdoctoral Researcher at the University of California, Davis with the California Wind Energy Collaborative. He joined the School of Engineering at the University of Guelph, Guelph, ON, Canada, in 2006, where he is now an Associate Professor. His research focus is renewable energy technologies, particularly hydro, solar and wind, and environmental fluid mechanics, and improving energy efficiency of agricultural processes including greenhouse production and grain drying..
