Prof. Dr. Kumaran Kadirgama is a Professor and research fellow at Advanced Nano Coolant Lubricant Laboratory (ANCoL), UMP. He is a professional engineer registered under the Board of Engineers Malaysia (BEM); and a Chartered Engineer (UK) under the Institution of Mechanical Engineers (IMechE). He is also a Professional Technologist (P.Tech) of the Malaysia Board of Technologists (MBOT). Up to date, he has 18 years of experience in teaching and research activities at Universiti Malaysia Pahang (UMP) and University Tenaga Nasional (UNITEN). His expertise is in nanofluid and advanced materials. He has also been appointed as an Associated Researcher at Nelson Mandela University, South Africa, and appointed as a Visiting Professor at Rajarshi Shahu University, India. He has also been a panel member for the Malaysian Qualifications Agency (MQA) from 2015 to the present. In research, he was involved in the supervision of postgraduate students at Master's and PhD levels. So far, he has already graduated numerous students in PhD and Master's level.
