Douglas Craig is currently a professor of Chemistry at the University of Winnipeg, Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada. He completed his B.Sc. at Mount Allison in 1988 and his Ph.D. at Dalhousie in 1993. Douglas Craig has lectured biochemistry courses at The University of Winnipeg for over 20 years. He has also received over 25 Natural Sciences and Engineering Research Council of Canada (NSERC) Discovery, Research, and Equipment grants, totaling over $1,000,000. His research interests are in studying the basis and function of the heterogeneity of enzyme molecules and their role within the cell. A second interest is the development of ultrasensitive methods for analyzing biological molecules, particularly enzymes and proteins.
