Dr. Samer Fahmi Adwan is currently an Assistant Professor at the Faculty of Pharmacy, Zarqa University, Jordan, a role he has held since February 2018. He earned his Ph.D. in Pharmacy/Pharmaceutical Sciences from Queen’s University Belfast between 2014 and 2017, following his M.Sc. (2004-2007) and B.Sc. (1998-2003) degrees from the University of Jordan. His research interests are primarily focused on novel drug delivery systems, particularly in ocular and transdermal applications, as evidenced by his publications in peer-reviewed journals such as the International Journal of Pharmaceutics and AAPS PharmSciTech. These works include studies on laser-assisted drug delivery and eutectic-based transdermal systems. Dr. Adwan is a member of the Jordan Pharmaceutical Association and the Jordan Food and Drug Administration (JFDA), and he has received numerous accolades for his significant contributions to the pharmaceutical sciences, underlining his commitment to advancing the field through both innovation and instruction.
