Gustavo J. Lascano is an Associate Professor at Clemson University. He received his B.Sc. in Animal Science from Zamorano University in Honduras. He obtained his M.Sc. and Ph.D. at The Pennsylvania State University with a specialization in Ruminology. After this, he accepted a position as an Assistant Professor at Cal Poly, San Luis Obispo, and was the leader in developing the Ruminology laboratory. He is the Founder and CEO of THRIVU. He has held several leadership positions, such as Director of a USDA Multistate Dairy sustainability project, Graduate Program Coordinator, University Senator, founder of Cal Poly and Clemson Ruminant Nutrition lab, and many others.
