Author Biographies

Leon Cohen is a Professor of Physics at the Hunter College of the City University of New York. He completed a Bachelor’s degree at the City College of CUNY in 1962, and a Ph.D. at Yale University in 1966. Leon Cohen has been awarded the Willis E. Lamb Award for Laser Science and Quantum Optics in 2003, and the Donald W. Tufts Underwater Acoustic Signal Processing Award in 2019. Moreover, he is a member of the American Physical Society and IEEE. His research interests include Quantum Mechanics, Signal Analysis, N-body gravitational problem, quantum chemistry, pulse propagation.
