Prof. Dr. Eng. Dr. Ec. Aurel Mihail TITU is a professor at the Department of
Industrial Engineering and Management, Lucian Blaga University of Sibiu, and a
PhD supervisor at the National University of Science and Technology POLITEHNICA
Bucharest. He earned a Ph.D. in Management Economics from Lucian Blaga
University of Sibiu in 2007. He is a PATLIB Expert accredited by the European
Patent Office (EPO), an intellectual property expert, and a Designated
Ambassador of Innovation for Europe and Asia. Since 2010, he has been Director
of the Regional Center for Promotion of Industrial Property Protection at the
Romania State Office for Inventions and Trademarks (OSIM) and EPO
(PATLIB Center of Sibiu). He is also the President of the Romanian Association
for Alternative Technologies in Sibiu (A.R.T.A. Sibiu). He is an active
corresponding member of the Romanian Academy of Scientists (AOSR) Brașov
Branch, a co-founder and Editor-in-Chief of the Nonconventional Technologies
Review, an editor of Management of Sustainable Development Review, an editor
and co-founder of the Journal of Electrical Engineering, Electronics, Control
and Computer Science, and Associate Editor of the International Journal of
Mechatronics and Applied Mechanics. His research interests include intellectual
property protection management, quality management, knowledge and innovation
management, designing devices, and non-conventional technologies.
