Dr. Patrik Ščajev obtained his Ph.D. degree from Vilnius University in 2013. Currently, he holds the position of a senior researcher at the Institute of Photonics and Nanotechnology at Vilnius University. He specializes in the characterization of semiconductor structures and devices by time-resolved optical techniques in the UV–NIR spectral range. The carrier recombination lifetime, diffusion coefficient, mobility, and diffusion length are the main investigation parameters. Materials such as nitrides, oxides, carbides, diamonds, tin alloys, perovskites, were investigated by differential absorption, differential reflection, time-resolved photoluminescence, time-resolved photoconductivity, and light-induced transient grating methods.
