Dr. Richard A. Hubner received undergraduate medical training at Cambridge and Oxford Universities, and completed specialist training in medical oncology at the Royal Marsden Hospital. Dr. Hubner performed research into genetic susceptibility to cancer leading to a PhD, and this and other research have led to a number of publications in peer-reviewed medical journals and presentations at national and international meetings. Dr. Hubner has been a consultant at the Christie NHS Foundation Trust since 2010 and is currently the Principle Investigator or Co-Investigator for a number of phase II and III clinical trials of novel therapies for patients with upper GI, hepatopancreaticobiliary, and neuroendocrine cancers.
