Dr. Wen Peng is an Associate
Researcher at the State Key Laboratory of Rolling and Automation, Northeastern
University. He completed his PhD studies at Northeastern University in 2014. As
the main competitor, he developed the application software of the automatic
control system for hot strip rolling with independent intellectual property
rights, mastered the key control technology of the rolling process at a deep
level, and realized the integration of the control system of the plate and
strip rolling process. His current research interests include Intelligent
Control of Plate and Strip Rolling; R&D of Automation Systems for
Continuous Rolling.
Dr. Jie Sun is a Professor at the State Key Laboratory of
Rolling and Automation, Northeastern University. He completed his PhD studies at
Northeastern University in 2011. In 2017, he was awarded the 2011 Steel Common
Technology Collaborative Innovation Center Innovation Pioneer honor. In
addition, he was a Deputy to the 14th Liaoning Provincial People’s Congress. As
the main executive, he developed the automatic control system of plate and
strip rolling with independent intellectual property rights, completed the
R&D and debugging projects of more than 30 cold/hot rolling control
systems, developed a full set of industrial control software for cold rolling
and hot rolling, and formed a foreign technological advantage, and the leading
results were appraised by several
academicians that “The overall technology has reached the international leading
level”. His research interests include Key technology of intelligent control of
plate and strip rolling; R&D of automatic control systems for continuous
rolling.
