Dr. Huanyu Jiang is a professor and doctoral supervisor at the College of Biosystems Engineering and
Food Science, Zhejiang University, China. He is mainly engaged in agricultural intelligent equipment, facilities agricultural equipment, agricultural robots, computer NDT technology, and other aspects of scientific research and teaching. Dr. Jiang is the Deputy Director of the Electrification of Agricultural
Mechanization of the Agricultural Engineering Society of China, the Executive Director of the Zhejiang Agricultural Engineering Society, and a member of the International Optical Engineering Society.
Dr. Jinming Pan is a full professor, department chair, and Institute Director at the College of
Biosystems Engineering and Food Science, Zhejiang University, China. He mainly researches “special intelligent LED lighting for animal production” and the “intelligent sensing of animal growth and health information”. His patented technology, a so-called intelligent special LED for poultry, has been widely
used in poultry farms, such as Yukou, Wenshi, CP, Lihua, OSI, Shengdile, Huayu, Deqingyuan, and Huaying. One of the example farms was selected for the Global Solid State Lighting Showcase TOP 100 by the International Solid State Lighting Association (ISA) in 2013. He has also won the Youth Science and
Technology Prize of the Chinese Society of Agricultural Machinery in 2013.
