Cheng-Tang Pan currently works as a Professor at the Department of Mechanical and Electro-Mechanical Engineering, National Sun Yat-sen University. He received his Ph.D. from the Department of Power Machinical Engineering, National Tsing-Hua University in 1998; M.S. from the Department of Power Machinical Engineering, National Tsing-Hua University in 1993; and B.S. from the Department of Aerospace Engineering, Tamkang University in 1991. His research interests include mechanical design, medical aids, precision manufacturing, mechanism driven, motor/generator control, LED lighting design, micro-nano medical structure manufacturing, and display solar panel optical design.
Zhi-Hong Wen is a pharmacologist who graduated from the Institute of Life Sciences, National Defense Medical Center, Taiwan in 2003. He worked at the Shin Kong Wu Ho-Su Memorial Hospital in 2004 and at the Department of Marine Biotechnology and Resources, National Sun Yat-sen University from 2005 to the present. He has served as the Vice President of the Office of Industrial Collaboration and Continuing Education Affairs at National Sun Yat-sen University (2015/2-2018/7) and as Distinguished Professor (2018/08 to present) and Professor (2012/08 to 2018/07) in the Department of Marine Biotechnology and Resources, National Sun Yat-sen Univerity. His research interests include drug discovery, marine bioceramic bone graft, cosmeceutical and nutraceutical development, animal disease model (non-genetic), neuroscience, neurodegeneration, and brain cancer.
