Prof. Dr. Luca Carmignani is the Head of the Urology Operating Unit at the IRCCS Ospedale Galeazzi-Sant’Ambrogio, a Senior Consultant at the IRCCS Policlinico San Donato, and a specialist in urology at the Casa di Cura La Madonnina. With over 12,000 surgical interventions performed personally, he deals with all diseases related to the urinary system, focusing in particular on oncological surgery and prostatic hypertrophy using cutting-edge methods such as endoscopic laser surgery with Tullium and minimally invasive robotic and laparoscopic surgery. He is the author of over 200 scientific publications, including 110 articles and 90 abstracts. He regularly participates as a speaker at national and international medical conferences. He is also a Secretary of the Association of Urologists who work in privately managed hospitals (UROP), as well as a President of the Foundation of the Italian Society of Urology. He also carries out teaching activities as a Full Professor for the degree courses in Medicine and Surgery and the School of Specialization in Urology at the University of Milan.
