Dr. Yoshikane Yamauchi is a Senior Assistant Professor at the School of Medicine, Teikyo University. He graduated from Keio University and also received his Doctor of Philosophy from Keio University. After training in Keio University Hospital, Shizuoka Cancer Center, and Heidelberg Thoraxklinik, he started his work at Teikyo University. He is a council member of the Japanese Association of Chest Surgery and the Japanese Society of Respiratory Endoscopy. He is also a member of the Editorial Board of the Japanese Society of Respiratory Endoscopy and the Bronchoscopy Registry Committee of the Japanese Society of Respiratory Endoscopy. His main research areas include life sciences and chest surgery.
Dr. Masaaki Sato is a general thoracic surgeon at the University of Tokyo Hospital and a Professor at the University of Tokyo, Graduate School of Medicine. He graduated from Kyoto University, Faculty of Medicine, in 1999 and earned his Ph.D. degree at the University of Toronto in 2009. He came back to Japan as an Assistant Professor at the Department of Thoracic Surgery, Kyoto University Hospital, in 2011. He moved to the University of Tokyo Hospital in 2015. His research focuses are lung transplantation and lung mapping for precise minimally invasive lung resection.
Dr. Takashi Ohtsuka received his M.D. from Keio University School of Medicine in 1996 and a Ph.D. from Keio University in 2006. He has served as a resident in surgery at Keio University, an attending physician at Nishiseikai Central Hospital, a researcher at the University of Michigan, and an Associate Professor in the Department of Thoracic Surgery at Keio University. He is currently a Professor and Director of the Department of Thoracic Surgery at Jikei University School of Medicine. His main research interests include lung physiology, oncology, lung cancer surgery, minimally invasive thoracic surgery, and lung transplantation.
