Dr. Yafei Wang is a Master’s Supervisor at the College of Plant Protection at Henan Agricultural University. He studied at Southwest University for Nationalities from 2009 to 2013 and obtained his BS in Management. From 2013 to 2018, he studied at the College of Plant Protection and the Institute of Citrus of Southwest University and received his PhD in Agronomy. From 2019 to 2021, he conducted postdoctoral research at the Institute of Plant Protection, Chinese Academy of Agricultural Sciences/Shenzhen Institute of Agricultural Genomics. In 2022, he joined the College of Plant Protection at Henan Agricultural University, mainly engaged in the identification of agricultural pathogens (fungi, viruses, and viroids) and their interaction mechanisms with hosts. Currently, he is leading the National Natural Science Foundation of China Youth Science Fund Project “Analysis of the Mechanism of Colletotrichum graminearum Regulating Host Transcriptome Alternative Splicing and Rearrangement of Plant Immunity”.
