Peter A. Dele is an Associate Professor in the Department of Pasture and Range Management (PRM), College of Animal Science and Livestock Production (COLANIM), Federal University of Agriculture Abeokuta (FUNAAB). He earned his B. Agric., M. Agric., and Ph.D. from the University of Agriculture, Abeokuta (now Federal University of Agriculture, Abeokuta), Nigeria. Before bagging his Ph.D., he won a TWAS-CAS PhD fellowship that was tenable at the Institute of Subtropical Agriculture, Chinese Academy of Science, Changsha, Hunan Province, China in 2011. He was at Christian-Albrechts University Kiel, Germany in 2014 on a TWAS-DFG postdoctoral visit. He was a Research scholar in the Department of Animal Sciences, North Carolina Agricultural and Technical State University, Greensboro, USA from 2021–2023. He is a Forage-Livestock Scientist with a strong affinity for Pasture Production, Conservation, and Utilization, and experienced in Pasture Research Methodologies, Data Analyses, and Presentation. His research cum production interests include irrigated pasture production, organic pasture production, forage conservation (hay and silage making), and utilization. He served as the National Secretary of the Society for Grassland Research and Development in Nigeria (SOGREDEN) between 2017 and 2021. He is a founding member of the Silage Group, in Nigeria.
Dr. Ahmed E. Kholif obtained his Ph.D. in Animal and
Veterinary Sciences from National Research Centre, Dokki, Giza, Egypt. He also
actively participated in many conferences and scientific meeting. He has
published 2 articles in journals, and 2 book chapters. His area of research
interest focuses on Animal and Veterinary Sciences, Animal Nutrition Systems,
Dairy Cattle Nutrition and Dairy Enterprise Analysis, Feed Enhancements Dairy
Management, Animal Nutrition, Animal Production Systems, Upgrading and
Utilizing the Low Quality Roughages as a Non-conventional Livestock Feeds,
Wastes Recycling by Using Biotechnology Applications, Application of
Biotechnology in Dairy Animal Nutrition, Mushroom Production and Manufacturing
Processing, Rumen Microbiology, Animal Physiology of Nutrition, Feedstuff
Chemical Approximate Analysis, Biological Analysis in Blood and Urine, and
Evaluation of Feedstuff (Forages, Concentrates and By products).
