Leonard Ionut Atanase obtained an M.S. degree in Macromolecular Chemistry from University of Haute Alsace in 2006 and a Ph.D. in Materials Chemistry from University of Haute Alsace in 2010. He is now a professor and the dean of dental medicine at Apollonia University in Romania, as well as the coordinator of the Biomaterials Laboratory and also the Office of International Relations. He is a member of the editorial board of the International Journal of Medical Dentistry and a member of the Organizing
Committee of the International Congress of Apollonia University. He has published several papers in various journals, including 32 articles published in ISI-listed journals, and 52 published papers, 45 of which were published in international scientific conferences. His research interests include block copolymers, emulsion, hydrogels, drug delivery systems, and micelles.
