Dr. Andreea Bena is a specialist doctor in Endocrinology and was a resident endocrinology physician at “Pius Brinzeu” County Emergency Clinical Hospital Timisoara from 2017 to 2021. She completed her PhD studies in Endocrinology at the “Victor Babeș” University of Medicine and Pharmacy, Timisoara, and was awarded the third prize in for the Webinar of PhD Students SMFT 2021 and the ISGE Full Package Scholarship. She serves as a member of the Roman Society of Endocrinology and the European Society of Endocrinology. Her papers have been published in internationally recognized and ISI-recognized international journals. Her research topics mainly include the thyroid, thyroid cancer, elastography; ultrasound, osteoporosis, and parathyroids.
Prof. Dr. Dana Stoian is a senior consultant in Endocrinology at the No. 1 County Hospital Timisoara and a professor at the Department of Internal Medicine II, “Victor Babes” University of Medicine, Timisoara. She completed her PhD studies at the “Victor Babes” University of Medicine, Timisoara. She has published more than 120 in extenso papers in various journals, all indexed in Clarivate Web of Science and has a IH = 17. She is a member of the editorial board for the World Research Journal of Medicine and the National Advisory Board for Endocrinology of the Ministry of Health. Her research topics mainly include endocrinology, elastography, viscosity, contrast-enhanced ultrasound, multiparametric evaluation, thyroid disease, renal disease, liver fibrosis, and hyperparathyroidism.
