Prof. Dr. Fernando Almeida received his
Ph.D. in Computer Science Engineering from the Faculty of Engineering of the University of Porto (FEUP), and an MSc in Innovation and Entrepreneurship and in Informatics Engineering from FEUP. He has around 15 years of teaching experience at higher education levels in the field of computer science and management. He has also worked for 20 years in several positions as a software engineer and project manager for large organizations and research centers such as Critical Software, CICA/SEF, INESC TEC, and ISR Porto. He is currently an Engineer/Professor at the Polytechnic Higher Institute of Gaya. He is also a founding member of the International Association of Innovation Professionals. He has a strong research interest and has already conducted high-quality research work in the fields of innovation models, university spinoffs, database management, software engineering, and software quality.
Dr. Bálint Blaskovics graduated in economics and received his PhD in management studies from Corvinus University of Budapest. He has 15 years of teaching and research experience in project management and has been managing projects for 14 years or providing consultancy in this topic. He has developed, upgraded, or supervised the development of 2 programs and 10+ courses related to project management in his alma mater. He is now the head of the Department of Project Management and a postgraduate project management program at Corvinus University of Budapest. He has a strong interest in the soft side of project management and digital/virtual project management.
