Dr. Alexandre Campos Moraes Amato is a vascular surgeon and researcher at the Amato Institute of Advanced Medicine, São Paulo, Brazil. He completed his PhD in Cardiovascular Surgery at the University of São Paulo (USP) and has been awarded several prestigious honors, including the Society of Vascular Surgery International Grant and the ACP International Travel Scholarship. He recently led projects on lipedema management and the ketogenic diet. Dr. Amato has published over 50 papers in various international journals and serves as a reviewer for multiple vascular surgery societies. His teaching disciplines include vascular surgery, endovascular techniques, and integrative health. His research interests focus on lipedema, minimally invasive surgery, and ketogenic diets.
