Dr. Giuseppe Patanè is a senior researcher in CNR-IMATI, Italian National Research Council, Institute of Applied Mathematics and Information Technologies. He obtained his master’s degree in Mathematics from the University of Genova, Italy, in 1999. In 2000, he obtained an advanced post-laurea degree in ‘Mathematics’ Applications to Industry’ from the University of Milano Bicocca, and in 2005, he received his Ph.D. in Mathematics from the University of Genova. He joined CNR-IMATI in 2001 as a research fellow. Since 2020, he has been the senior researcher. His research topics mainly include computer graphics, geometry processing, graph signal processing, multidimensional media, shape modeling, and shape analysis.
