Dr. Aubrey Mbulelo Sosibo is a lecturer and Ph.D. candidate in Human Physiology at the Department of Human Physiology, School of Laboratory Medicine and Medical Sciences, College of Health Sciences, University of KwaZulu-Natal. He is currently completing his doctoral studies under Professor Andile Khathi’s supervision and the co-supervision of Dr Sethu Ngubane. His PhD study investigates the prevalence and correlations of pre-diabetes within the Ethekwini district and the pathophysiological mechanisms involved in the development of pre-diabetes. His research interests are non-communicable diseases, pre-diabetes and Metabolic complications, exercise, and epigenetics.
