Prof. Weibin Cai is an Associate Professor and Master's Supervisor at the School of Chemistry and Environmental Engineering, China University of Mining and Technology (Beijing). He obtained his bachelor's, master's, Ph.D., and postdoctoral positions from the Department of Chemical Engineering at Tsinghua University. His research interests mainly include the research on the mass transfer mechanism of membranes and the preparation and application of performance-enhanced separation membranes, the research on the development and application of high-efficiency tower internal components, and the deep treatment and reuse of wastewater with zero discharge.
Prof. Hengjun Gai graduated from South China University of Technology with a Ph.D. in Chemical Engineering. He has worked and visited Nanchang University, Shanxi Institute of Coal Chemistry, Chinese Academy of Sciences, and Qingdao University of Science and Technology. He is currently a professor and doctoral supervisor at the School of Chemical and Environmental Engineering, China University of Mining and Technology. He is a member of the Chinese Agricultural and Workers' Democratic Party. He mainly engages in research on chemical process development, energy and chemical pollution control, energy conservation, and emission reduction. He also serves as a special committee member of the Coal Chemical Industry Special Committee of the China Petroleum and Chemical Industry Federation, a special committee member of the China Coal Processing and Utilization Association, and an editorial board member of "Coal Chemical Industry".
