Silvestru Catalin Ionut is an associate professor who received his PhD in the field of Economic Informatics at the Academy of Economic Studies. He is a member of the INFOREC professional association, Project Management Romania Association, ACM, IEEE, and others. His work focuses on programming, robotics, blockchain, information systems, e-learning, long-life learning, project management, building management systems, software applications, integrated management systems, and human resources development. He is also a member of several working groups at the European level (such as EQF AG, EUROPASS, and ESCO) as well as in various working groups and committees at the local level involving adult education and training, higher education, and professional development. He also works as a Director with the National Qualifications Authority, Bucharest (Romania). He oversees the development and maintenance of network solutions; the development and implementation of software and hardware solutions; the development, implementation, and realization of web and data security solutions; the development and updating of IT policies at the institutional level; and the management of online communication platforms.
