Prof. Dr. Chenliang Gong is a professor at the School of Chemistry and Chemical Engineering at Lanzhou University. He graduated from the School of Chemistry and Chemical Engineering of Lanzhou University with a PhD in Polymer Chemistry and Physics in 2011. He then went to the University of Connecticut for joint doctoral studies. His current main research directions include functional polymer materials, including fuel cell proton exchange membranes, functional polyimides, and the development of high-performance adhesives and coatings.
Prof. Dr. Yongqing Zhao is an associate professor at the Institute of Life Analytical Chemistry and Atomic and Molecular Engineering, School of Chemistry and Chemical Engineering, Lanzhou University. He is a PhD candidate in Analytical Chemistry at the School of Chemistry and Chemical Engineering, Lanzhou University. From January 2007 to October 2008, he worked in the School of Engineering, Hong Kong Polytechnic University on applied research in polymer composites. His research interests include basic research on the application of carbon materials and their composites (such as biomass-derived carbon, graphene, graphyne, and manganese dioxide composites) in the field of electrochemical energy conversion and storage (especially supercapacitors).
