Songmei Zhao is Aassociate professor at the Beijing Academy of Science and
Technology. She completed her PhD studied in Polymer Chemistry and Physics at
the Institute of Chemistry, Chinese Academy of Sciences. From 2015–2022, she was working
in the Key Laboratory of Engineering Plastics of Institute of Chemistry,
Chinese Academy of Sciences; from 2022.8 to present, she has been part of the Institute of
New Materials and Advanced Manufacturing, Beijing Academy of Science and
Technology, and engaged in the research and development of high-performance
multifunctional polymers in the area of renewable energy and advanced materials.
She has published more than 10 papers in SCI and core journals and hosted and
participated in a number of National Natural Science Foundation projects, other
large petrochemical enterprise technology development projects, and projects of
Beijing Finance and Beijing Academy of Science and Technology.
